Coming in from ...
A5 or A67 - Highway to exit Weiterstadt (A5) or Büttelborn (A67), driving in the direction of Darmstadt, in Darmstadt follow the B42 (signs: towards Rödermark). At the intersection with the Kranichsteiner St., turn right, driving in the direction of Darmstadt city center (Innenstadt). Kastanienallee is the first street on the right.
A3 / A661 - at the "Offenbacher Kreuz", turn onto the A661 in the direction of Egelsbach, exit at Langen, drive towards Offenthal. In Offenthal, in the direction of Messel, make a right turn (direction Darmstadt) at the traffic light (Kranichsteiner Str.). Drive through Kranichstein Str., in Darmstadt behind the railway underpass, the second street on your right is the Kastanienallee.
Darmstadt city center follow signs in the direction of Dieburg, then towards Kranichstein until you reach the Kranichsteiner Str. The Kastanienallee is past the Bürgerpark Nord.
Hot tip: Should you need to ask someone for directions, ask to be directed to the "Bayerischer Biergarten". It is at the end of Kastanienallee and almost everyone in Darmstadt will be able to tell you how to get there.
